How to block Google Chrome, Internet Explorer and other search engines via Window Firewall Policy?

Here you can learn that how will you block any search engine via Window Firewall Policy.

So, Let's Start

First of all, we check that our search engine works.

I open it and search for Youtube and it will open.

If you want to block it then,

Open your "Control Panel". 

Then, open your "Windows Firewall " option.

After opening that, click on "Advanced Settings" option.

Make sure that your Window Firewall is on.

 After clicking on Advanced Setting option. A new windows open.

Right click on "Outbound Rules" option.

Then, select "New Rule" option.

 After that, a new windows open.

Select "Program" option.

Then, Click on "Next" button.

 After clicking on next, a new page open.

Click on "Browse" button and select the path.

You know that the programs which we install or already install in the computer, their exe file is placed in the "Program Fles x86" folder.

You know that every program run with its exe file.

You can check the file extension by opening its properties.

Here i select the chrome exe file and click on open.

After that, click on "Next".

 After that, you want to block it.

So, select the "Block the Connection" option.

Then, click on "Next".

Here, you want to block it for all three profiles.

Then, select all and click on "Next".

 After clicking next, A new option opens.

Here, you give it a name.

I give it name "block_googlechrome".

You can also give it description.

Then, click on "Finish".

 Here, you can see that it will block the search engine.

It will not search any thing.

 If you want to unblock it, then open Control Panel again.

Open Windows Firewall and click on Advanced Setting.

Then, click on Outbound Rule.

It shows that rule at first.

Right click on the "block_googlechrome" rule.

Then, select the "Disable Rule" option.

 Here, you can see that after disable it, the sign of block has been removed.

So, we can check our search engine again.

Here you can see that it will works again.

You can also block any other search engine using this rule.
