Email Security Threats.

       The are some of the Threats to the email security. These are as follows.

Spamming Mails.

       Spamming involves the process of sending unsolicited bulk emails resulting in overloading of the receiver's inbox.

Spam emails generally consists of malicious programs that would include viruses, worms, Trojans,  etc.

Security Countermeasures.

1- Use anti-spamming tools.

2- Does not open unknown links that are posted in the mails that you feel suspicious.

3- Use mail services such as 10 minute mail for small unwanted subscriptions.

4- Do not post using your actual email address on any public forums.

5- Avoid opening up the messages that are marked as spam by your Mailing Application.

6- Check if the email was received from the actual source.
